Since I’m only really faithfully following two shows in this Winter season, I’ve been making quick work of some of my backlogged anime series. Pandora Hearts is one I’ve had my eye on, but I wanted to wait for something to spark my interest. Well, my friend recently picked it up and burned through it in a matter of two or three days and pestered urged me to check it out. Lucky for him, he knows what buttons to push to get me to watch something and managed to link me a to a couple short snippets of a few of the hilarious moments in the show. That pretty much sold me right there, as I’m a sucker for any series which can handle comedy well.
Then once I started watching the series myself, I found myself really enthralled by it. The first three or four episodes are incredibly overwhelming, but that’s usually something I attribute to a universe that’s just teeming with potential for a great story. There’s tons of mystery and solving those mysteries is extremely enticing to me. But before I ramble on for another paragraph about nothing in particular, I want to get to what impressed me the most about Pandora Hearts: Oz.
Er… no that’s not quite what I mean.
