Ok, so after finally watching all of the episodes of the first season, I was finally able to watch the first episode of Clannad After Story. And then, of course, I decided to finally look around some blog posts and such about the series.
It’s probably a good thing I didn’t delve too deep, because it seems that Clannad was actually a video game (correct me if I’m wrong here), and the entire video game covers their time at school (season 1 of Clannad), and the so called After Story.
Well, I finally got around to marathonning the second half of Clannad and all I can say is.. wow. What a rollercoaster ride. It was amazing how they could bounce between the extremely sad and the hilarious comedic scenes.
I’ll start off just talking about the first 23 episodes. In fact, I didn’t even realize what episode 24 was going to be, I just saw it marked as being a DVD release, so I wasn’t sure if it was just wrap up on a couple things or what. So that was an interesting surprise :p
