White Album – 02

wa0202

Wanna be by yourself
And no one else
Alright
Now you wanna go out
Wanna scream and shout
Tonight

wa0201

You want some space
Now get out of my face
Alright
Now you want me back
Put your life on track
Tonight

wa0208

You’re a needy girl
I can tell when I look in your big blue eyes
You want my world
But how can I do yours if I can’t do mine?
I try to change
But somehow it’s weird I don’t feel the same

wa0207

It’s all about
What you want

wa0203

What you say

wa0204

How you feel

wa0210

How you play the game

wa0205

You’re a needy girl
And you want my world
I try to change
But it’s not the same

I think this is the most fun I’ve ever had writing a post. As for White Album itself, things are finally heating up.

So, like Rina, I’m wondering why Yuki is crying. Given that she was alone in the room with Rina’s brother, my warped mind already has one reason. I doubt it, but that’d be a nice drama bomb on top of the rest of the stuff that’s been happening. Anyway, Yuki and Rina go to see Fujii where he’s working at the bar, and thus, the fun begins! Fujii gets introduced to Rina-chan. Then Yuki has to leave with her rather uptight manager or whoever the hell she is. This leaves Rina-chan all alone with Fujii except for Sunohara, and she takes full advantage of the situation by snagging Fujii’s number in a cunningly clever way.

Also, either Yuki finally got her telephone installed in her room or she’s had one for a while now and she’s lying through her teeth. I’m kind of hoping for the latter. It would make things so much more interesting. But unfortunately, I’m betting she just got it put in. Too bad for Yuki, Rina-chan beats her to the punch and dials up Fujii first. Fujii is one lucky sonofabitch. Two idols vying for his attention? Not to mention the butch chick and the bookworm.

Anyway, finally things are actually happening. Rina seems to take over the spotlight this episode, showing her ruthless efforts to attempt to snag Fujii right out from under Yuki’s nose. You go Rina-chan, don’t let that timid bitch keep you down!

In case you’re wondering and before someone asks, the song I used above is called Needy Girl by Chromeo.

EDIT: Oh man this makes it even better, apparently Rina is living somewhere else (i.e. not with her brother), so her brother was totally not expecting her to come barging in. That makes that scene look even worse. Like I said, I doubt it’s anything like that, but hey, I can hope. I would love it if White Album took a no holds barred approach to drama bombs, but I don’t feel like it’s going to be that bold. Ah, if only. At least Rina-chan’s not so sly attempts to ninja Fujii from Yuki right when he’s most vulnerable should prove to be some good drama once Yuki finds out. Oh or even better, Haruka might overhear him talking to Rina-chan on the phone and then rat him out to Yuki, hoping that from the fallout, Fujii won’t want to date either girl and he’ll be free for her to grab.

Unfortunately, no :| At best you have Rina trying to comfort Yuki after she had a cry.

  3. Oh Sunohara. Why is his voice so eminent in this show?

You can tell his voice a million miles away in any show. He plays someone in Koukaku no Regios too and I cringed the moment he opened his mouth. I liked Sunohara, but I’m getting tired of Sunohara clones. Like, exact clones /headdesk

Muahahaha! Rina is such a wonderful devious idol and I love her for it. Really should be hating her for being a “conniving bitch” but it’s just not possible.

Need to watch the full episode nao (I got partway through it before I practically fell asleep at my desk).

Hahaha, how can you fall asleep while watching Rina being a totally conniving bitch?! She’s seriously so underhanded it’s hilarious. Hey Yuki, you were talking to your boyfriend? Introduce me to him so I can steal him away when you’re not looking!

Fujii is a true hero. I love when a harem develops unexpectedly in a drama show like what happened in School Days. If Fujii does half of what Makoto pulled off with women he is a hero in my books.

On another note, the scenery and music mesh well to create a dramatic environment, this show could’ve been good if they made Fujii whiny and sad like the guy from 5CM per Second, but the pseudo harem is good too.
