Wow, finally we get some interesting stuff happening in Gundam 00!

First they make it look like Ptolemy got shredded to pieces in space, but clearly that can’t have happened, because it would’ve been way more dramatic and played out. Nena comes along and is like “ohi I just saved your ass, here’s where Ptolemy went.” Actually I don’t know that she said anything about where Ptolemy went, but I do know she was like, “lol I saved your ass, oh and it was me that sent that info too btw, you can thank me later.” I hope she told him Wang Liu Mei betrayed them too, but I don’t think I heard her say anything like that, unfortunately.

Then Prince Ali distracts Jihad-kun and gets 00 to follow him to Kurdistan or the ruins of it rather, where he gets to meet Ribbons!

Now, I know this was supposed to be srsbsns, but I was laughing the whole time. And that’s because someone, and for the life of me I can’t remember who (maybe Crusader), made a prediction (as a joke I think) that Ribbons was the one piloting the 0 Gundam that saved Jihad-kun when he was a kid. Lo and behold, he actually was the pilot of the 0 Gundam. Not only that, but Ribbons was the one who appointed Jihad-kun to be a Meister as well. Fuck, I still can’t find that picture of Ribbons in the 0 Gundam cockpit looking down at Setsuna as a kid, someone help me out here. It was like a 4koma or something.

Ah well, fun stuff to come I hope. Oh there was a new OP but no ED at all this episode. I need to listen to the OP a bit more to decide if I really like it or not, but my initial impression is ‘meh.’
