Darker Than Black

Yes it is, it’s HILARIOUS. Oh my god I nearly fell out of my chair when July did that. I guess a shota is fine too. Well, not really, but July is turning out to be pretty cool himself. But I want my Yin back, NAO.

A little more on Darker Than Black, I get the feeling that Amber is actually still alive. With all this ‘her’ and ‘that woman’ and such, it makes me think she didn’t quite use ALL of her power at the end of the first season. Mao says he’s working for some woman, so maybe after all that stuff that happened, he joined with Amber?

Kampfer

And I feel like I’ve lost my dignity by watching this. But really, I just don’t care. Because Kampfer keeps me laughing and that’s exactly what I want from my anime.

Apparently, he does. Oh Natsuru, you’re so dense. This is why I approve of Shizuku’s forceful methods, because obviously Akane’s advances are falling completely flat. Well, finally it looks like we’ll be getting back to the actual story about Kampfers. Not that this wasn’t amusing, but I’m wondering how they’re going to wrap this up (if they are) in another 6 or 7 episodes.

Railgun

Well, I’ll just say it now, I liked this episode probably the least out of all of them so far.

There was almost nothing really actually interesting about this, and my only salvation was the fact that Konori (Komari?) played a huge role, so I got to hear plenty of delicious Ueda Kana goodness. Edit: Oh and even though totally unrelated to this episode, can someone please spoil me on what Kongou Mitsuko’s power is? We’ve only seen bits and pieces of her, but I’m curious what her power is since she seemed to be training around the same area as Kuroko in the first episode.

Ah, I love it. Deadpan lolis ftw~

Some sorta interesting stuff happened this episode, for once. We get to see Yukiko’s powers, which include both a dual personality and a god complex. No really, she can’t die. Well that sure as hell is convenient. I’m still really confused at why that is a ‘creepy’ power, I’d think being able to regenerate your body within minutes or even seconds of taking a wound would be pretty fucking cool.

Nyan Koi

And saving the best for last. Nyan Koi continues to surprise me with how hilarious it is. Even though I spoiled myself by reading the manga, because I couldn’t wait to find out more about those twintail twins, it was still really funny seeing it.

So, since they were flashing Nagi’s ass and tits (DFC though they may be) in the OP, it was really no surprise last episode when she turned out to be *gasp* a GIRL. Which made the last episode pretty much a bore and really made me dislike Nagi. However, cockblocking the cockblocker earned her way more points than she lost last episode.

And I’m grateful that she’s cockblocking the cockblocker. Although I do have to say I am a bit partial to Kanako, just because she’s voiced by Shiraishi Ryoko. But her cockblocking was really getting out of control.

YUSSSSSS Time for the twin tailed twins to make their debut. Too bad I’m already mostly spoiled on this whole arc, but it’ll still be awesome to see how they do it.

Well, it looks like these are pretty much the shows I’m sticking with so far this season. My main focus is definitely Nyan Koi, Darker Than Black, and Kampfer, with Railgun falling a bit after that last lame episode. Seitokai no Ichizon and 11eyes, I’m keeping up with, but they’re not really keeping me anxious for the next week’s episode. Darker Than Black is almost keeping me too anxious. DO WANT MOAR. And even though I usually detest flashbacks, it’d be nice if we could have one regarding what the hell happened after Hei stopped that explosion thing and a little bit more clues as to what the hell happened to Yin.
