It seems I caught up to White Album with impeccable timing. All the drama is finally coming to a head with this episode.

Well, I admit I did find the thought of Rina-sama betraying you to be unthinkable, but it’s not much of a stretch to believe Touya would.

Everything sounds like a lie from Touya. The only thing that wouldn’t sound like a lie from him would be him saying he’s cheating on Yuki with multiple women.

A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES!

What the hell? 19 episodes in and we get ANOTHER love interest? I’m guessing Menou must’ve known Touya from a long time ago or something? But wow did that come out of nowhere. We didn’t even hear her name until episode 13 I think, and then all of the sudden she’s part of the main story. Unless I’m really missing something here, this feels really weird. Although it’s entirely possible that I am missing something, because as I said I’m still kinda fuzzy on the first 13 episodes.

Well, I have to say, I did like Kabitzin’s theory that Yuki will realize that hanging around with that loser Touya was a mistake and that his infidelity would cause her to reform and cut her losses and move on and become a star. However, with her attitude in this episode, I’m really starting to doubt that. Saying that she’ll wait forever for Touya, even until and beyond death makes me think she’s just touched in the head. Honestly, what the hell is wrong with you Yuki? The guy has been cheating on you, with multiple women no less, for the ENTIRE SERIES. Your entire time in college (which they seem to be focusing on less and less), he’s been hanging around with girls other than you. Not to mention he’s been apparently purposely avoiding you, convincing himself that sleeping with other women is good for your career. And you’re waiting for that guy? Not only that, but you’re allowed yourself to be dragged down by him. If you don’t shape up soon Yuki, your career will be over and then you’re nothing but another pretty face.

I really didn’t expect Rina to confess to Yuki outright about Touya. I mean, I knew she wouldn’t hold her tongue for very long, but I’m surprised she didn’t try to skirt the issue to buy herself time to figure out what to do. I have to admit I kinda laughed when I saw Yuki biting her hand so hard it started bleeding. At first I kinda thought she was clawing at her face or something. But this sort of thing does give me hope that they might be willing to get into some really gritty stuff. Clearly, murdering Touya is the only option left.

Honestly, I’m kinda wondering what kind of end they are even aiming for here. We have 6 episodes left for a resolution, so… where are we going? I can honestly see this ending in a giant trainwreck where Rina and Yuki duke it out and Touya runs off with Yayoi or maybe this Menou chick, leaving both Rina and Yuki to wallow in their tears. Realistically, I can’t see how this can possibly have any kind of happy end to it. Touya is just completely screwing around with the entirety of the female cast and I just can’t see this ending well, even if he does somehow end up back with Yuki. And if he does end up with Yuki that will be the silliest thing I’ve ever seen.

Also, what’s the deal with those photos anyway? I mean, ok, it made sense if Yuki was just suspicious but didn’t have proof, but now Rina just flat out admits about fooling around with Touya behind her back. And now Rina’s with M3 who has the pictures anyway (I think), so what’s the deal? Are they going to release them to try to throw Yuki even more off course or will they try to use them against Rina too, now that she’s apparently relying so heavily on Touya? I mean, if Rina just admits that Touya’s messing around behind Yuki’s back, then there’s no need for that whole plot thread at all. Oh well, I’ll guess we’ll see as more chaos is unleashed in the next episode.
