Aha, it’s all starting to make sense. He woos them with lines like, “You are my goddess.” and then they just fall head over heels for him. …wait what?
Haha, so not only is it horribly hilarious that he just up and left in the middle of the date, he also left her with the check. Hahaha, Touya, you’re the worst.
Oh my god… what the hell is going on here? Ok, I knew Eiji was a little bit off his rocker. This was apparent from the first season when he calls Rina boring because she’s already passed her peak and such. But WOW, I didn’t realize he was THAT far gone. Thankfully, Yayoi has a degree in psychoanalysis and explains it all to him pretty plainly. She’s not an artist or a singer, but she sure knows her psychology. Anyway, this is a very odd revelation, which makes me now wonder if Ogata Productions studio is heavily in debt. With how manic he is about getting that painting, he must have blown a ton of cash. I mean, the room was filled with paintings. Even if they don’t all have the 1 billion yen price tag of the one that he scribbled all over, it’s still a fortune in its own right.
Now, Touya is just bringing it to a whole new level. Messing around with Rina behind Yuki’s back? Ok, I don’t blame him, Rina’s the better of the two, hands down. Messing around with Yayoi, really low and scummy, but she did sorta force herself on Touya. But now, this chick from like episode, what was it, 4 or 5? He notices the goddess line got her hook, line, and sinker and he’s going to take advantage of it as best he can. You know, I really thought at first that Touya wasn’t one of ‘those’ guys, like Makoto. You know, trying to score every chance he gets. Turns out I was wrong, he will sleep with anything that walks, just like Akira said.
I couldn’t help but think, as they showed the scenery around the town and showed Menou on a train that this really is going to turn out to be a giant trainwreck. There are so many ways that this can end up having terrible, terrible outcomes that I’m at a loss to try and decide which one I want most. I would not at all be surprised if White Album takes up the same route as School Days. Rina apparently doesn’t know what a slacker and playboy Touya is and when she finds out that he’s been cheating on her with a whole slew of girls, even after they kissed, she is going to be furious. And since she’s never had a boyfriend or probably never even had a love interest, she’s really not gonna know what to do with herself. It’ll be interesting to see what happens. It also seems like when Rina said that Touya was Yuki’s boyfriend that the President of M3 was like, “holy shit we just struck gold again.” It’ll be interesting to see what happens to those pictures now.
